BarrieWATSON(Consett) Passed away on 10th October 2026, aged 68 years. Barrie, beloved son of the late Frederick and Joan, and dear brother of Gordon. Barrie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at Mountsett Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd November at 2pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Donations can be made in Barrie's memory to Pancreatic Cancer UK

This is a really hard tribute to write. I have known Barrie for 60 years, had pints with him, played golf with him and grew old with him. Barrie never had a bad word to say about anyone and was a true gent. He'll be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
